Guitar kerfing

We offer Spanish cedar kerfing in three profiles, standard, standard bevel and reverse.  We also offer Red spruce and mahogany kerfing in standard and reverse.

Kerfing provides a solid gluing surface for the joining of a guitar's back, top, and sides.

Triangular and triangular beveled are the traditional choice for steel string and classical guitars. Reverse kerfing is designed
to give added strength and stability to the sides of a guitar. Each kerfing strip is 32” long, preslotted and ready to glue. Four pieces are required for most steel string and classical guitars.
