Honduran Mahogany (swietenia macrophylla) needs no formal introduction. It's a timeless classic having all the punch and volume you would expect from a great tonewood. It is a stable and easy to work; it bends and glues with relative easy and produces a warm and lively tone. Honduran Mahogany is an excellent choice for the budding luthier or the seasoned veteran.
